The MSI MPG B650 EDGE WIFI Motherboard supports AMD's Ryzen 8000 & 7000-series processors with up to 16 Zen 4 cores as well as dual-channel DDR5 memory, with a maximum memory capacity of up to 128GB and a bus speed of up to 6600+ (OC) MHz. It features Core Boost technology that combines MSI's premium layout and optimized power design, which allows for faster and undistorted current delivery to the CPU at pin-point precision. It not only supports multi-core CPUs, but also creates the perfect conditions for CPU overclocking. It has an extended Heatsink, MOSFET thermal pads rated for 7W/mK, additional choke thermal pads and a Double-sided M.2 Shield Frozr built for a high-performance system and a non-stop gaming experience. The motherboard is made of a 6-layer PCB made of 2 ounces of thickened copper and server-grade material. It can deliver a lightning-fast game experience with PCIe 4.0 slots, Lightning Gen 4 x4 M.2 with M.2 Shield Frozr design keeps M.2 SSDs safe while preventing throttling, making them run faster. The rear I/O panel now offers easy ways of directly entering the safe boot, a one-click toggle for all RGB lights, and directly activating Turbo mode. The MSI MPG B650 EDGE WIFI offers you ample connectivity options, giving you seven USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 ports with data transfer speeds up to 5 and 10 Gb/s, respectively, suitable for a wide range of peripherals such as capture cards, microphones, and more. A single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port offers up to 20 Gb/s speeds, suitable for audio arrays. The MAG B650 series motherboards offer a wide variety of options to connect and boost your USB devices, offering never before seen USB speeds up to 20 GB/s when connecting the rear USB Type-C.
